Phil is a father of 4 girls and grandfather of 14. He has been a member of Ascension for 24 years. He a 4th degree in the Knights of Columbus. He completed his certificate of Catachisis from the School of Faith. He was part of bringing Christ Renews His Parish to Kansas with Msgr. Tank. He has studied Theology of the Body and been inspired by books Padre Pio, St. Faustina’s diary, St. Mary Margaret Alacoque, many documents written by St. Pope John Paul II, Pope Benedict. For practical applications he tries to follow the advice of Fr. Cajetan Mary Da Bergamo in Humility of Heart and Rev Joseph Tissot’s book Profiting by our Faults following the advice of St. Francis De Sales. He is just a regular lay person striving to be who God made him to be, a father on earth like Our Father in Heaven. Fathers of St. Joseph since 2015.
