Michael Shirley founded the Catholic Business Network in 2009. The popular networking group continues to meet. Michael holds degrees from Rockhurst College and UMKC. He is a member of both Church of the Nativity and St. Michael the Archangel parishes in Leawood.

Michael was owner of a retainer based executive search firm from 1980 to 2010. Previously, he held positions as manager of recruiting, divisional sales manager and national sales manager for Russell Stover Candies department stores.

He is chairman of the Arts In Public Places Initiative for the City of Leawood and is invited to speak around the country on “Everyday Evangelization”.
