Brian grew up in Olathe and Overland Park, Kansas. He enlisted in the Air Force and went to the University of Nebraska-Lincoln after high school, thinking he was going to have a career as a military pilot. In His mercy, Jesus called him away from this career path to diocesan seminary, where he prepared for Catholic priesthood, and received invaluable human and intellectual formation. Although he has since left seminary, he found his passion for helping men grow in their relationship with Our Lord and each other in a world where authentic friendship is at an all-time low and loneliness is at an all-time high.

Some of his loves are travel, adventure, sports, talking to strangers, skiing and sipping good whiskey.
